We want to show care for God's world so we are undertaking a review to help us include more in our worship and teaching, to use our buildings in ways that care for the environment, to have a connection to local and global GREEN concerns and to encourage local folk to live with Nature in mind. After Easter we will be undertaking an audit on church life to see how ecologically minded we really are.
For several years we've been supporting Action aid to improve life for women and girls in poorer contexts. In 2021 we are going to raise the profile of their work and campaigns. Join us in Lent buy saving money, or putting aside money you save through giving up things and at the end of LENT add it to our parish contribution to projects in Uganda that we support.
To help us have a more meaningful connection with Christians overseas we are going to partner with CMS in supporting a local congregation or project in another country. CMS are also excellent in resourcing church in the UK into taking new steps in mission.

The side chapel , to the left in this photo is going to have a make over this year: the kitchen at the back will be extended and updated, we'll have new flooring and we are making safe the entrance from the side door when we remove the existing dias, altar and wooden back (reredos) to create a welcoming space for existing and new groups.
